Vision

At the core of Hoover Christian School is our Vision and Values Statement. This statement directs us daily at Hoover Christian School as it comes to life in our academic program, our co-curricular programs (such as languages and fine arts), in our service activities and in our interactions with each other and the world. The center of our Vision and Values is Jesus–Christian education inspiring students to know, follow and share Jesus at every opportunity.

Serving humanity.
Exploring the world Biblically.
Educating for eternity.

Our vision is to create a love of learning and serving in each student. HCS wears the label of Christian education in everything we inspire in our students. Seventh-day Adventists recognize God as the ultimate source of existence and truth. We believe Christ died as part of a plan to restore humanity back into God’s image. Since we were created in God’s image, every human being, although fallen, is extremely valuable and full of potential through Christ. Therefore, Adventist education seeks to maximize inherent abilities, promote loving service over selfish ambition, and cultivate appreciation for all that is beautiful, true, and good. “It is the work of true education to develop this power, to train the youth to be thinkers, and not mere reflectors of other men’s thought.” Education p. 17. Studies prove that the longer students are in this school system, the more advanced they will perform.
